News Alert: President Obama to Address Congress on Jobs and Economy on Sept. 7

From the sound bite I heard today of his press release in preparation for his speech before Congress you’d think he was trying to make a joke to ease tension before he was to start his actual speech!!!

It would seem that Obama is the only one who thinks he has just stepped into the White House for the first time giving his speech as to what he plans to do in the next four years… all the rest of Americans are stunned as to leaving them wondering if Obama has finally lost it all together!!!

It is one thing for him to blame everything on Bush, but when he speaks like he has had nothing to do with the Nation’s economic collapse and the intentional attempt at destroying the Republic, it is an insult to the American People’s intelligence as he has from day one given the appearance that he and he alone is the only one who has any knowledge as how to run a country.

He surely was the only one who had the notion he was to bring the greatest nation to its knees when his clueless followers thought he was the real deal!!!

The President is a PUTZ!

Obama’s timing is either the result of an inflated ego or just plain rude since he must have known about the previously scheduled republican candidate debate. Obama’s ’intrusion’, while within his rights, is NOT smart.

President Obama to Address Congress on Jobs and Economy on Sept. 7

President Obama is requesting a joint session of Congress for next Wednesday — at 8 p.m., exactly the same time as the scheduled Republican presidential debate, as it happens — to give a much anticipated speech outlining his proposals to boost employment and the economy.

In a letter to the leaders of both houses of Congress on Wednesday, Mr. Obama said it is his “intention to lay out a series of bipartisan proposals that the Congress can take immediately to continue to rebuild the American economy by strengthening small businesses, helping Americans get back to work, and putting more money in the paychecks of the middle class and working Americans.”

That Mr. Obama was going to make his speech next week was expected. But it is remarkable that he would choose to do so in such an elevated setting, and at the same time that Republican candidates for president will be laying out their own vision for how to get the country out of the economic doldrums.
