As in most cases that involves tragedies, if it does not affect you directly as in personally or family wise, people have a tendency to totally ignore or give it a couple seconds thought and then on with business as usual!!!
People at home who lived through WWII know the hardships and the losses. The children of the WWII Veterans know the costs to parents who served.
When Korea came along it seems Patriotism started to dwindle in folks other than those had a hand in WWII, a good portion answered the call once more and if they were young enough they even served in Vietnam!!!
With the fact that far too many people started to become self-centered and non-engaged in patriotism when Korea was over the people were tired of wars but then came Vietnam and the war protestors grew like wild fire.
No one likes war but there are reasons for such tragedies having to be addressed.
Liberals are totally separated from reality that the world is not perfect and no one will ever make it that way and instead of continuing to support their country’s decisions to help their Allies they’d rather complain about it all instead of doing something about it. So they became engaged only to conspire to Socialize our Republic!!!
Those of us who have never stopped backing our Republic and its US Constitution have no regrets as to our character in being loyal and true Americans!!!
If and once the Liberals take hold in converting this nation into anything other than the Republic it is, it will be the end of a great nation of once truly free people!!!

I got a lump in my throat when I read this. I "grew up" thinking: patriotism, it is the AMERICAN way! I am glad to see that somebody saved these posters. The statement at the end says it all!

What in God’s name have we let happen ?
I guess we are the last generation to see, or even remember anything like these ! Whatever happened? It’s called………………………….
Political correctness (or "re-education") happened, Lack of God’s name happened, Lack of personal responsibility happened, Lack of personal integrity and honesty happened, Lack of respect and loyalty to our country happened, Lack of being an American happened.Did all of these things die along with common sense?? I for one am still proud to be an American! If you are too….. Pass this along,So others can show their pride
